Low Cornriggs Farm has won two Green Tourism Awards from the North Pennines Tourism Partnership, which are awarded to an enterprise which makes a "positive contribution to tourism and the environment in the North Pennines". We are part of the Green Business Scheme from 2006 and we are trying to do our bit to help with the environment.

Jan & Harry's restoration of the meadows and pastures around the farm, as well as the pond and tree plantation which Harry has created, encourages local wildlife to thrive in this Area of Outstanding National Beauty.

This Year in 2012 we had the writer from the Guardian News Paper to stay and you can read what he wrote about our farm and the area. well worth a read
